3rd NanoPurAsp Mini Symposium

23/09/2021 a 24/09/2021 Online

The Organization Committee welcomes you to the 3rd NanoPurAsp Mini Symposium (2021), a meeting that aims to bring together people working on upstream and downstream protein production and purification processes from the academic and non-academic community.

The event is organized by São Paulo State University (UNESP), CICECO, University of Aveiro (UA) in collaboration with LSRE-LCM, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP). The annual NanoPurAsp meetings were originally established to address the main results obtained within the project “Development of sustainable nanomaterials for the purification of antileukemic drugs” (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-031268, FAPESP 2018/06908-8) starting with the 1st NanoPurAsp Workhop at FEUP, Porto, Portugal. Due to the current sanitary crisis related to COVID-19 pandemic, the second annual meeting of the NanoPurAsp project was converted to an online event that took place in November 2020. The second event had 84 participants, 4 invited speakers, and 4 speakers of our research group. In this sense, the third annual meeting of the NanoPurAsp project will be also an online event. In this edition, the scientific program includes 4 oral communications, presenting the most recent results and advances obtained in the last year of the project, and 4 invited lectures on very interesting themes such as genetic engineering, molecular dynamics simulation, protein production and characterization, purification processes of biopharmaceutical products and improvement of pharmacokinetics of biomolecules using Ionic liquids.

The Mini Symposium will be held via Google Meeting from 23 to 24 of September 2021. The participation is free of charge and the registration is open until September 21th.

We look forward to welcoming and meeting you to the Mini Symposium NanoPurAsp.

Sincerely yours,

The organizing committee,

Ana Paula Tavares (CICECO, University of Aveiro)
Cláudia Silva (LSRE-LCM, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto)
Danielle B. Pedrolli (São Paulo State University - UNESP)
Valéria C. Santos-Ebinuma (São Paulo State University - UNESP)
