Joćo Rocha

    Joćo Rocha Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Aveiro, Portugal, Director of the Centre for Research in Ceramics and Composite Materials (CICECO), Vice-Director of the European Multifunctional Materials Institute, and member of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. Dr. Rocha is chair of the Commission on Inorganic and Mineral Structures of the International Union of Crystallography, chairman of the Editorial Board of European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Board member of Solid State NMR, and Royal Society of Chemistry Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Book Series Editor. He is evaluator for the European Research Council Senior Grants. He has published ca. 400 SCI papers and book chapters, which have received over 7300 citations (h=42), and 3 patents, and mentored 20 PhD students and 27 post-docs.
