Dr. Flaviu Turcu has over 10 years' research experience in Magnetic Resonance (MR), especially in solid-state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (MAS NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Force Microscopy (MRFM).
Current research interest include (i) High-Pressure MAS NMR capability development, (ii) in situ NMR characterization of heterogeneous solids and/or gas/liquid/solid mix materials, (iii) high filed NMR homo- and hetero-nuclear correlation spectroscopy, quadrupolar nuclei, (iv) NMR lineshape simulation (SIMPSON, GAMMA), (v) geochemical processes associated with CO2 sequestration, solid/scCO2/H2O reaction mechanism, (vi) organic-inorganic biological materials interface characterization by EPR/NMR/MRI.
