Natālia Carulla received her B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry in 1996 from the University of Barcelona. In 2001, she obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota. The same year, she moved to the University of Cambridge for postdoctoral research. In 2004, she returned to Barcelona at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine, first as a postdoctoral fellow and since 2006 as a Research Associate. Her research interests focus on the study of the structure and dynamics of all the species involved in the process of amyloid-β (Aβ ) fibril formation associated to Alzheimerīs disease (AD) with the aim of applying this knowledge to the development of treatments for AD.
