The Organizing Committee invites you to attend the 10th National Meeting on Photochemistry to be held in Porto on December 9 - 10, 2010. This meeting was held for the last time at Algarve in 2007. Now, with a one year delay imposed by the reorganization of SPQ meeting calendar, we are resuming the sequence of events. This will be a two day meeting, thus it is expected to promote a good, very intense, gathering of all national photochemists, along with our invited international guests. This meeting is known for its enormous versatility, going over traditional photochemistry and spanning over themes such as fluorescence, spectroscopy, natural and synthetic dyes, organic photochemistry, photocatalysis, photophysics and much more.

The organizing Committee truly hopes that the 10th National Meeting on Photochemistry will express the high commitment and exceptional profile of the Portuguese photochemists. We plan to put up a scientific program where young researchers will be able to interact closely with the more senior scientists in a symbiotic manner, building up the necessary links for the continuous progression and development of Photochemistry and its associated areas.

The official language of the meeting will be English.
