A special issue of the European Journal of Organic Chemistry will be dedicated to the centenary of the Portuguese Society of Chemistry by the occasion of the 6th Spanish-Portuguese-Japanese Organic Chemistry Symposium. Lecturers are invited to submit a paper for this special issue. Also other scientific contributions presented may be invited by the editors to submit a paper to this special issue, aiming to bring together expertise in organic chemistry of the countries that participate in the meeting. This invitation is not a guarantee for acceptance. As with all submissions to the journal, invited papers will be refereed. This is not meant as a discouragement, of course, but rather to ensure the highest quality, originality, and significance. Short Communications and Full Papers are the types of articles that will be considered (please see instruction for authors ).

When submitting the paper, authors should mention in the cover letter that their paper is to be included in the special issue dedicated to the centenary of SPQ by the occasion of the 6thSPJ-OCS and should also inform the meeting secretariat about the title and the type of manuscript submitted, until July 15 (eventos@spq.pt).

The manuscripts should be submitted via manuscriptXpress until end of September.
