The Food Chemistry Division of the Portuguese Society of Chemistry is pleased to announce the 11th Food Chemistry Meeting (11EQA), which will take place in Bragança, Portugal, from 16th to 19th September 2012.

These meetings, whose first edition was in 1993, are already a reference in the field of Food Chemistry and Food Science in Portugal. The theme of this edition will be “Food quality: new challenges” and the scientific program will include plenary sessions with invited speakers, selected oral presentations and papers in a poster format.

This meeting, jointly organized by the Division of Food Chemistry and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, is intended to serve as a platform for discussion on the latest developments in the area of Food Chemistry, as well as for the dissemination and sharing of knowledge among the participants. To achieve this goal, the Organizing Committee invites all members of the scientific community, academic, industry and society in general, with interest in the area of Food Chemistry, to participate in this event.
